MINNEAPOLIS–This winter, the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia) is launching a new after-hours art and dining experience called Art & Wine After Dark, featuring a private wine tasting, an expert-led conversation about art and wine, and a walkthrough of one of the museum’s remarkable exhibitions.
The first iteration of Art & Wine After Dark is inspired by the exhibition Revolution à la Mode: Fashion and Music in Revolutionary France. Acclaimed sommelier Bill Summerville and curator Nicole LaBouff will lead a lively discussion of art, wine, fashion, and music during the French Revolution and the tumultuous years leading up to it, while guests enjoy curated wine selections and small bites from Paris Dining Club.
Art & Wine After Dark will take place on select Wednesday evenings from January through March. Tickets are $125 per person, all-inclusive, and the purchase supports the museum’s mission. For more information, click here.
