Bus Transportation Grants

Let the Friends of the Institute help transport your students to the Minneapolis Institute of Art to explore a world of art. The Friends of the Institute Transportation Fund is proud to make bus grants available to Metro-area K-12 schools for the 2024-2025 school year. Bus grants will be awarded based on needs and will be available only to guided tours at Mia.

Group Guidelines

Our group guidelines will help you and your group prepare for your visit and include information about chaperones, parking, and tour policies. Guidelines are available in English, Spanish, Somali, and Hmong.

Purcell-Cutts House Tours

A masterpiece of Prairie School Architecture

The Purcell-Cutts House, designed and built by William Gray Purcell and George Grant Elmslie. Located at 2328 Lake Place in Minneapolis, the house has been extensively restored and is part of the collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
